Havdalah & Community Chanukkah Celebration

Celebrate Chanukkah in community as we come together for some relaxed late Shabbat afternoon time together, followed by Havdalah (the ritual of marking the close of Shabbat with a braided candle, spices, grape juice and song). After that, we will light Chanukkah menorahs to welcome in the fifth night of Chanukkah. Everyone is welcome to join us for a vegetarian, potluck dinner and an evening of dreidel spinning, singing, eating and schmoozing!

4:00-5:15 pm    Informal gathering / Children's play time / Local Olive Oil Tasting - compliments of Trattore Farms in Healdsburg.

5:15 pm               Havdalah, Chanukkah menorah lighting, singing

6ish                      Vegetarian Potluck Dinner

What to Bring:

-  Something for vegetarian potluck dinner and afternoon snacks (local, organic offerings especially appreciated!)

-  Optional:  Your own chanukkiah (Chanukah menorah) with candles/oil for fifth night (6 candles, if you're bringing just candles!)

-  Optional:  drums or other musical instruments
