Community gathering in a Sebastopol home to welcome in Shabbat together with story, songs, and blessings. Everyone welcome, but please RSVP by NOON on Friday to email@example.com.
Please bring a vegetarian dish to share - organic, seasonal offerings from home gardens and local farms especially appreciated. Fish and dairy also great!
DROP OFF & PARKING: There is no parking in the driveway. Please park on the street on Washington Avenue. There is also parking at Parkside Elementary School across the street. To get to the house, walk (if possible) down the driveway and follow it around to the right. It is possible to drive up to the home to drop someone(s) off, if needed. Then, please park on the street.
To RSVP email firstname.lastname@example.org.
And for those who appreciate more details, there will be ZMANIM signs marking the entrance to their driveway, but here are the more specific directions to their home:
The entrance to their driveway is marked by wooden fence on either side of it.
To get to their home, drive down Bodega Ave. (in the direction of heading into downtown Sebastopol). After you pass Robinson Rd (on your right) you'll see 2 sets of arrows saying that the road is curving. You'll then see a sign for the upcoming school crossing, and then a sign for the upcoming fire station saying "Prepare to stop." Their driveway (where you cannot park, but where you can drop off people) is right after that sign. Turn in at the green house on your right. You'll see a set of house numbers (including theirs) on your right.
If you get to Washington Ave and Parkside Elementary school you've gone too far. However, please park there, and then walk to their home by crossing to the opposite side of Bodega, and the walking up the sidewalk away from town until you get to their address on what will now be your left.
From the other direction, drive on Bodega away from downtown Sebastopol. Find a place to park around Parkside elementary school, then continue walking up Bodega, on the left side of the street. You'll see a "25 mph" speed limit sign on your right, and on your left a white picket fence followed by a brown fence. Turn in at the driveway right after the first segment of the brown fence (which has that green house with the range of house numbers that includes theirs by the street on the other side of the driveway, by the other side of the brown fence).
There are a number of homes in their little complex. Take the driveway to the end. (It's not very long, but it goes straight, then turns to the right). Their home is straight ahead, at the very end of the driveway.
We look forward to welcoming Shabbat in community with you!
