We invite you to celebrate the Jewish New Year in the outdoors!

At 10:30 we'll be gathering for a special adult-oriented, song-filled, reflective space with Torah and shofar to start the New Year with community, intentionality, and a celebration of the creation of the world.

From 3:30 - 4 we'll be engaging in an ancient ritual of "casting out" those things that hold us back from our potential.

10:30-12:45 Celebrate the New Year and the creation of the world, actually in the outdoors!

12:45- 1:45 Kiddush/blessings & Pot-luck veggie/dairy/fish lunch, apples & honey (Details below)

Donations of local apples & honey welcome!

3:30-4 Tashlikh- Meet at the Sebastopol Community Center's playground structure. We'll walk to the Laguna's seasonal bridge together for a brief ritual to let go of that which is weighing us down.

Bring those things (in your heart, or symbols of them) that you'd like to be free of as you head into the new year, and in community we'll symbolically release ourselves of them.

We are looking forward to leaving lighter than we arrived!

RSVP to with what gathering you are planning on attending, the number of adults and the number of children that will be attending, and the children's ages.
