10:30 Gather & Singing
10:45 Adults: Rabbi Josh will be teaching a session called The Deep Power of this Season: Preparing Your Soul for the High Holydays. In this session, we’ll study a thought-provoking text on teshuvah, the core spiritual value of this season, sing a little to open our hearts, and perhaps touch on the big picture sacred mythology of the High Holyday season.
Children: outdoor play, stories, song, etc!
11:45 More singing
12:00 Shabbat blessings & (bring your own picnic) lunch

*Parking for this sweet spot among these old growth redwoods is very limited. Let's carpool! Please RSVP by Thurs., 9/15 at 10 a.m. to firstname.lastname@example.org with your phone number, and the number of people that will need a ride (including yourself), as well as the number of people that can fit in your car, and we'll see what we can do to reduce the number of parking spaces we need in order to allow for maximal participation. Thank you!
This week will be our last Saturday morning gathering for several months. As the planet turns, and our days turn shorter, starting in October we will be experimenting with gathering late Saturday afternoon into early evening, and marking the end of Shabbat together with havdalah rituals and song (and food, of course)! We look forward to sharing this special time of the week with you soon!
